Molly Birkholm thrives at helping exceptional people overcome extraordinary challenges. As a speaker and consultant, she guides leaders and top organizations around the world, including the US Department of Defense and the Young Presidents' Organization.
As the Executive Director of World at Ease and co-founder of Warriors at Ease, Molly has helped pioneer evidence-based trauma-sensitive yoga and meditation programs to help combat PTSD in military and other communities affected by trauma, including human trafficking survivors, prisoners, homeless youth, and refugees. Molly has conducted cutting-edge clinical research with the National Institutes of Health and Department of Defense on the effects of yoga and iRest Yoga Nidra on trauma. She is a Featured Teacher for Yoga International, an iRest Yoga Nidra Teacher Trainer, and she is the former Director of Research and Programming for the Sivananda Yoga Retreat. Molly is a co-owner of her local yoga studio, the Yoga Center of Key Biscayne, a community that provides outreach and support for orphans, veterans and trafficking survivors. She lives in South Florida with her 7-year old son, Santiago, and their yellow Labrador, Cleopatra.
